Madeleine Daepp is a doctoral student in the Department of Urban Studies and Planning at MIT. She holds an M.Sc. from the University of British Columbia, where she studied the spatial distribution of food retailers, and bachelor's degrees in Economics and Mathematics from Washington University in St. Louis. Her Ph.D. research spans public health and demography, with focuses on post-disaster mobility, neighborhood attainment, and the effect of healthcare reform on housing prices.
